Senior Leadership Development

Thomson Financial approached mc-cubed with the remit to raise people’s thinking to a strategic level and prepare them for the leadership challenges of being a country manager. The initial group comprised 12 people of different European nationalities from a very commercial and results focused background. These were people who were identified as being potential high-flyers who now needed to step-up their development.

The management of Sysmex realised that they faced a significant commercial challenge, how could they maintain growth in revenues and profitability in an increasingly competitive market? They realised that to address this challenge they had to look at developing the performance of the leadership and management team. The Sysmex senior management team was almost entirely ‘home-grown’ and it was recognised that external help could benefit the business by developing the capabilities and impact of the leadership and management team.
